How To Apply Lashes Like a PRO!
False lashes are the ultimate beauty accessory—they can take your look from simple to stunning in seconds. Whether you're a lash newbie or looking to refine your application technique, this guide will walk you through how to apply them like an expert!
1. Prep Your Lashes
- Start with clean, dry eyelids. If you’re wearing eyeshadow or eyeliner, make sure it’s applied before your lashes.
- Curl your natural lashes and apply a coat of mascara to create a base for the falsies to sit on.
2. Trim to Fit
- Measure the lash strip against your lash line and trim any excess from the outer corner. This ensures a comfortable and natural fit.
3. Apply Lash Glue
- Apply a thin layer of lash adhesive along the lash band. Wait 20-30 seconds for the glue to become tacky; this makes application easier.
- PRO TIP: take the lash with the freshly applied lash adhesive on it and stamp it where you're planning to place the lash on your eye. This will create a tacky base and guide for your lash placement.
4. Place the Lashes
- Using tweezers or your fingers, place the lash strip as close to your natural lash line as possible. Start at the center, then press the inner and outer corners into place.
5. Blend and Finish
- Once the glue has dried, use eyeliner to fill in any gaps along the lash line. Add another coat of mascara if you want your natural and false lashes to blend seamlessly.
